03-31-24 Sun Easter Sunday Sunrise Service (Pam Davis)
Sent 2024-03-29: Easter Sunday Sunrise Service -
This Sunday, March 31st, our Easter Service will be at the Gazebo beginning at 8:00am. Pastor Larry Allen will be delivering the message.
The program is as follows:
ORDER OF SERVICE
Prelude – Linda Watson
Welcome & Prayer – Pastor Larry Allen
Hymn – One Day
Lord’s Prayer
Hymn – Christ the Lord is Risen Today
Message – Pastor Larry
Hymn – Christ Arose
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father,
which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done
in earth, As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power,
and the glory,
For ever.
Amen.
ONE DAY
One day when Heaven was filled with His praises,
One day when sin was as black as could be,
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin,
Dwelt among men, my example is He!
Refrain
Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;
Buried, He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely forever;
One day He’s coming—O glorious day!
One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain,
One day they nailed Him to die on the tree;
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected:
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He!
Refrain
One day they left Him alone in the garden,
One day He rested, from suffering free;
Angels came down o’er His tomb to keep vigil;
Hope of the hopeless, my Savior is He!
Refrain
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer,
One day the stone rolled away from the door;
Then He arose, over death He had conquered;
Now is ascended, my Lord evermore!
Refrain
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming,
One day the skies with His glories will shine;
Wonderful day, my belovèd ones bringing;
Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!
Refrain
CHRIST THE LORD IS RISEN TODAY
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing ye heav’ns, and earth reply, Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious king, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Dying once He all doth save, Alleluia!*
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!
Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Lo! Our sun’s eclipse is o’er, Alleluia!
Lo! He sets in blood no more, Alleluia!
CHRIST AROSE
Low in the grave He lay
Jesus my Savior!
Waiting the coming day
Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! (He arose)
He arose! (He arose)
Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Death cannot keep his prey
Jesus, my Savior!
He tore the bars away
Jesus my Lord!
CHORUS

Casino Night is Friday, February 2nd and this is a major fund-raising event for the Sunshine community. We are in the planning stage of this event and are looking to the residents to help us out in making this event a huge success. So while you are doing some Christmas shopping maybe you could pick up a gift card to your favorite restaurant or business, donate a service, purchase or make a gift basket or make an item or pick up something new that you think would make a great raffle prize.
We are also doing something new this year - we are trying to get more table sponsors within our community. Someone from your street will be knocking on your door to ask if you would donate $10 toward being a Street Sponsor. It costs $100 per table per sponsor, but if ten people go in on one street, then we have a new table sponsor! Throughout the evening of Casino Night the sponsors will be announced and everyone sitting at that table will receive extra chips. So if someone comes knocking at your door - it is your neighbor asking you to contribute toward sponsoring a gaming table for Casino Night!
Thanks for your contributions!

Halloween Golf Cart parade Saturday Oct 28th
Lineup in front of the office at 3:30 to 4pm
We will be trick-or-treating for food for the needy. Any dry goods > can goods > paper products > health > care products > glasses / readers as we did last year. Last year was so much fun and had a lot of great donations! If you can be out we will collect your stuff from you or just set your stuff at the end of your driveway and we will pick it up. One more option is - there is a Halloween party this year at the hall and you can just bring it there. There is such need in our community and this is our small way we can all help Branden Freeland the minister that did our wonderful Easter service this year at the gazebo. His ministry will be the recipients of our donations. I hope to have him as our guest at the Halloween party. So let’s show him what a generous, caring community we are. Hope to see you all there!!
